Highland Golf & Country Club Golf Facility Information

Highland Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole private club designed by Willie Park Jr. in 1919.  The facility sits just 5 miles from downtown Indianapolis just north of the White River and is one of the oldest clubs in the state of Indiana.  Highland has hosted several major events over the years; from the 1927 Western Open to the 1999 Indiana Open Championship as well as the 2013 & 2014 Indianapolis Open Championships.  Highland holds a perennial top ranking within the state by Golf Digest.  The club recently completed a major bunker renovations which including re-shaping, new drainage, and new sand in all of the bunkers on the course. 

Highland’s golf course has been designed with 4 sets of tees to offer a fun and enjoyable golf experience for all levels of players.  Those yardages and ratings are as follows:

2016 Outside Outing Services, Guidelines and Fees:

Our Golf Professional Staff will provide your group with the following services when hosting an Outing at Highland Golf & Country Club – Event preparation including rules sheets, personalized scorecards and cart signs, special contests (closest to hole etc…), scoreboards and alphabetical listing of players for registration.  Our staff will be dressed in uniform and will assist your golfers with their golf bags.  Our practice area (practice range, chipping area and putting green) will be open and stocked with quality range balls.  Our professional staff will conduct announcements before play for rules and other communications, they will score the event and determine results and they will assist with the awards process and / or ceremony as needed.  The Highland Golf Shop is also equipped with the latest golf fashions and equipment and is happy to help you find just the right tee gift or prizes for your event. 

• Proper Attire must be worn by all golfers (Collared shirt tucked into shorts/pants, cap on forward, bermuda length shorts).

• Metal Spikes are prohibited.

• Pairings must be received by the Golf Shop 48 hours prior to the Outing in order for the staff to provide the events services outlined.

• All Signage and Hole in One Prizes will be Restricted to Designated Areas by the Golf Professional Staff.

• Play is Limited to 18 Holes.

• No Rain Dates or Rain Checks

• Highland Golf & Country Club Reserves the Right to Charge for any Damage to Club Property or Grounds
