Bill Pollert, PGA
Director of Golf & Instruction

Bill was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana before attending Ball State University where he graduated with a Business Administration Degree. While at Ball State Bill was a 4-year member, Captain, and MVP of the Men’s Golf team.
Upon graduation Bill started his career in the golf business, which included becoming an Assistant Professional at Crooked Stick Golf Club (Carmel, IN) where he earned Indiana Assistant Player of the Year & Assistant Golf Professional of the Year awards. During his career Bill has earned several achievements & awards in the Indiana Section including Teacher of the Year (2023), Golf Professional of the Year (2021), Merchandiser of the Year (2017), and the Horton Smith Award (2014). Additionally, Bill is a Past President of the Indiana PGA Board of Directors where he served for 11 years.
Bill has also been a competitive player in the Indiana Section, consistently finishing in the Top 15 Professionals in the Indiana Player of the Year competition. Bill also participated in the 2012 & 2018 National Golf Professional Championships (Monterrey, CA),
Bill and his wife Wendy were married in November 2005 and have 3 young daughters (Annabel, Madeline & Cecelia).

Collin Powers
Assistant Golf Professional

Collin was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan where attended Muskegon Catholic Central High School and graduated 2017. After high school Collin attended the University of Indianapolis where he accepted a scholarship to play on the Men’s Golf Team for 5 years. After graduating from UIndy in 2021, he attended graduate school while working as an Assistant Golf Professional at Stonegate Golf Club back in Muskegon.
Collin joined the Highland team in April of 2022 and has a tremendous passion for the game of golf including customer service, club-fitting, and building relationships with both members & guests at the Club. He also served as the fitting rep for Taylor Made Golf in the Indiana Section in 2022. Collin will play an important role in all aspects of our operation and will include merchandising controls, event support, teaching & club-fitting, junior golf programs, and daily golf operations.
Jacob Nickell
Assistant Golf Professional

Jacob comes to Highland from Wheeling, West Virginia where he grew up until he was 18 years old. He had a decorated junior golf career there, finishing runner-up in the state junior championship twice.
He started working in golf at 15 years old at the Wheeling Country Club. Jacob came to Indianapolis to play golf at UIndy in 2018, and played there for five years. In his five years there, he collected four top-5 individual finishes, and a 6th place finish at the conference championship his senior year. In 2021, the Greyhounds tied for 3rd as a team at the national championship.
Jacob also garnered Academic All-American honors four times. While he pursued his MBA in his final year at UIndy, he served as the assistant Men’s Golf Coach. Jacob started full-time at Highland in May of 2024 as the Outside Operations Manager, and now serves as an Assistant Golf Professional.
Grace Davis
Assistant Golf Professional

Originally from Valparaiso, Indiana, Grace brings a strong background in competitive experience, education, and professional development to Highland. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Sport Management from the University of Southern Indiana, where she competed on the golf team for five years and won three individual titles.
Prior to Highland, Grace served as Lead Assistant Professional at Bloomington Country Club for 3.5 years, focusing on instruction, junior development, and member engagement. In May 2025, she earned PGA Membership, reflecting her commitment to the profession.
At Highland, Grace is dedicated to enhancing the member experience, supporting player development, and contributing to the continued success of the club’s golf programs.
Noah Gascho
Assistant Golf Professional

A native of Frankfort, Indiana, Noah brings a strong foundation of leadership, service, and operational experience to his role at Highland Golf & Country Club. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 2014 to 2018, developing a commitment to professionalism and teamwork that continues to guide his career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Butler University in May of 2023 and subsequently served as Director of Golf at Elwood Golf Links from August of 2023 through December of 2024, where he worked closely with Colin and John “Doc” O’Neal.
In December of 2024, Noah became an Assistant Golf Professional at Woodland Country Club. During his tenure, he earned his Class A PGA Membership and became an integral part of the golf operation. He will also work at Augusta National Golf Club during The Masters Tournament as part of the merchandising team, further broadening his experience at one of the game’s most prestigious events. Outside of his professional career, he married his wife, Haley, on June 26, 2015, and they welcomed their daughter, Mia, on June 20, 2025. Noah and his family currently reside in Zionsville.
Noah will start at Highland on Thursday, January 15th. Please help us welcome him to the Highland family and we are excited to have him a part of the team!
Lori French
Golf Shop Merchandiser

Lori came to Highland in 2021 and is responsible for providing a friendly and high-service retail experience for all customers who come inside the Golf Shop. Lori works closely with the Professional Staff in all aspects of the merchandising concession including buying, inventory management, visual merchandising & displays, sales and service. An avid golfers herself, Lori was born & raised in Lebanon IN where she still lives and plays at Ulen Country Club. Lori and her husband (Jeff) have one daughter (Maci) who played golf at Franklin College and also worked at HGCC.
Lori’s energy and outgoing personality ensure that all members & guests will have a great experience and get exactly what they are looking for from the Golf Shop at Highland!
